LAW+YOU RADIO SHOW
After the successful launch of the civics education curriculum, Child Steps International began producing and hosting a national radio show teaching civics, human rights and peace-building. The radio station at the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) provided a forum for the weekly broadcast, where callers from all 15 counties in Liberia have the opportunity to learn about topics such as youth participation, justice system and public sanitation. The goal of this program is to provide free public education on this critical issue to communities throughout Liberia. The LAW+YOU Radio show has more than one million listeners nationwide. Plans are in place to renew the show in 2021.
